Customer Agreement[1] and Risk Assessment

The Agreement is the foundation for controlling risk and avoiding misunderstandings with customers. This document was developed for each Article of Check 21 to address the complex issues and responsibilities of the bank and customer.

The Risk Assessment is required by regulators and critical to the Board of Directors’ understanding of Merchant Check Capture. The FFIEC guidelines were used to ensure compliance with current, published requirements.

Application and Underwriting Guidelines
